Head of Finance – FinTech
Our client is an established international FinTech Payments company at the forefront of product development in their field.
Due to continued growth, the company is seeking to hire a new Head of Finance.
As the Head of Finance, you report to the Group CFO, and your role is to oversee and manage all financial aspects of the organisation.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Financial Planning and Strategy: You would develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Financial Reporting: You would prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. This includes maintaining financial records, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: You would be responsible for monitoring and managing the company’s cash flow, including overseeing cash flow forecasting, optimising working capital, and managing liquidity risks.
- Risk Management: You would be responsible for identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. This includes developing and implementing risk management strategies and policies.
- Financial Operations: You would oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management. You would also ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
- Financial Compliance: You would ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, such as tax laws, audit requirements, and regulatory filings. This includes working closely with internal and external auditors.
- Strategic Financial Decision-Making: You would provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive team. This includes evaluating investment opportunities, assessing the financial impact of business initiatives, and providing recommendations for optimising financial performance.

Candidate Profile:
- Fully Qualified accountant
- Experience as a Finance Manager in a fast-paced FinTech and/or Payments Company
- Strong business acumen
- Can demonstrate excellent management and communication skills
